An Amusing and Steady Training
This
second quarter have gone through the basics of the HTML (HyperText Mark-up
Language). This is a standardized system for tagging text files to achieve
font, color, graphic, and hyperlink effects on World Wide Web pages. All
throughout the journey, I learned the different kinds of HTML tags, how to make
HTML files, how to apply design to the web page like adding a background color,
changing the font, and also the font color with the use of specific tag
attributes, making a table, and even dividing the browser window and display
more than one HTML documents! Besides aspiring to be a singer-songwriter
someday, being a web developer is something I also want to do in my life. I
found this whole quarter with lessons about the basics of web developing really
interesting. I must admit, it is sometimes complicated dealing with the tags
needed for one part of the HTML file. On the brighter side, it was never a
monotonous activity to accomplish.
I
have to say, studying about the basics of creating a web page is the best
lesson I had in School. I also consider this now as my training for my future –
in becoming a web developer someday. It may be a struggle at some point with
some of the mistakes I’ve had with HTML tags, but it doesn’t frustrate me to
the point that I would possibly hate it. I never felt that with this lesson.
From my perspective, it is definitely a simple, yet complicated, but fun
activity to do. Whenever I have difficulties with these, I mostly just search
it up online and watch to learn how they do it.
Moving
on, I will continue to explore more of HTML and its different tags and
attributes to sharpen my skills in developing a web page. By practicing it in Notepad
often, I would be able to learn this by heart, and guide me in the near future
as soon as I master memorizing the necessary tags needed for an HTML file. I am
really glad to have this lesson at this point of my life to prepare myself and
help me succeed for my dream to come true, hopefully, in God’s will.
